Pony clubs have been involved in Taree Show for approximately 20 years. Clubs in the district are Coopernook and District, Wingham, Oxley Island, Forster and District, Camden Haven.
This year we are trialing some new events.
Hack classes are judged on horse breeding. There are two types of hack, small and large.
Riding classes are judged on the riders ability to handle their horse.
Sporting events are timed events e.g. Show jumping (ability of rider to manouvre horse over jumps) and dressage.
